Dates and venue to be confirmed. Venue is normally Uppingham School in the East Midlands, dates are normally the week after Uppingham School finishes for summer. The timings are such that it is normally after schools in the Lothians have started their summer holidays.

This year, the Primary School that wins Lothians Team Day 2 will act as the Lothians and Borders qualifier for the UK National Schools Under 11 Chess Championship. While the qualifier in Lothians will be played over 4 boards, the final itself will be played over 6 boards (you can take reserves). 

The winning school, will need to confirm if they will take their place shortly after Team Day 2 - as if they decline, it'll be offered to the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
